The hard bid method is the most common method of preparing cost estimation of any project nowadays. General Contractors take subcontractor bids. After that, they implement their supervision, rent of equipment, conditions, contingencies, and profits.

Digital take-off methods perform accurate estimating. We mostly use estimating software such as Plan swift & Bluebeam etc.
